About Us

High Mountain Athletic Training is the dream of Coach Tom Massad who saw that there was a need for athletes of all levels to receive quality training and racing advice.  Many people are out there trying to get fit but, struggling to get results and often giving up in frustration.  Here at High Mountain Athletic Training, we want to show you that by applying proper scientific training methods to your sport, or sports, of choice you can reach all of your athletic goals.  

Coaching Services

We offer 3 different coaching packages to meet your personal needs no matter what your sport. Each program includes access to Training Peaks Premium, a $20 monthly value, included in our rates for a discounted cost of only $10.  We also offer customized training programs for your use without coaching for a one-time cost of $25. Military, Veterans, and First Responders get a 25% discount. Please contact us for more information.

In-Person and Online Coaching $100 Monthly

  • Online training program and daily workout analysis

About

Coach Tom Massad

An experienced ultra-marathon runner and UESCA certified ultra-running coach, with multiple finishes at all distances from 5k to 100 miles. Tom is also an avid cyclist/mountain biker, and a true tactical athlete who enjoys being fit and moving through the mountains.

 

Tom spent 12 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an infantryman and scout sniper before shifting to the contracting world as a Maritime Security Operator.

 

Over the years he has developed a love for endurance sports and enjoys teaching others to be successful and achieve their goals in a variety of sports.
